Help keep small businesses in business!!

The CPSIA (Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act) was created in response to all of the imported toys tainted with lead paint. While the intention is a good one, the act was not well thought out. As the act stands, it will require all businesses who create products for children to have each product tested for lead. This includes retired couples who make toys and sell at craft fairs, our wonderful moms who make cloth diapers, and a host of other small businesses.

What does this mean to you? It means that most, if not all, of the moms you look to for these products will be out of business due to these laws.

Get involved today by sending a letter to your Senator and Representative! Don't allow the government to put small businesses out of business because corporate American cannot or will not take responsibility for their products and ensure their safety!

Please, post this on your blogs and make sure that all of your friends and family who choose to support small businesses know about this issue.
